It was an interesting encounter on Saturday afternoon when newly promoted team Fulham welcomed Liverpool to the Craven Cottage. The Reds had to come from behind twice to steal a 2-2 draw away from home.
New boy Nunez Darwin got on the score sheet and Mohamed Salah also netted his first of the season. But it was Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic who stole the show.
The Serbian striker scored a brace to mark his return to the Premier League. He also set a record of becoming the first player to dribble past Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk in the Premier League.
Last season, he scored 43 goals in 43 matches to help Fulham win the Championship which also secured their return to the top fight.
With two goals, Mitrovic is currently leading the Golden Boot race. The 27-year-old is a prolific goalscorer and will cause havoc with defenders in the Premier League this season.
